Inventory Report Dashboard and Data Mart

Teman Data partnered with Toyota Astra Motor to develop a dashboard that tracks car inventory throughout the entire supply chain—from import or production all the way to dealer delivery. In the past, this process was difficult to monitor due to complex business rules and frequent manual updates, which often led to unclear stock levels and slow dashboard performance. To solve this, we built a dedicated system that organizes and streamlines the data, resulting in faster updates and more accurate, reliable stock information.
 

Before the project began, Toyota Astra Motor tracked vehicle stock using manual reports and data from different sources. Because the process was complicated, the information often came in late, didn’t match up, or was missing key details. This meant decision-makers had to spend extra time double-checking reports, which slowed down their ability to act quickly. Relying on manual updates also increased the chance of mistakes and made the system less efficient. As a result, it was nearly impossible to get a clear, real-time view of stock levels—making it hard for the company to trust its own data.
 

To solve these challenges, Teman Data built a central system that brought together all the scattered data into one reliable source, tailored to Toyota Astra Motor’s way of working. This helped eliminate the need for manual fixes and made the data flow more consistent and automatic.

Using this foundation, we created a dashboard that tracks every stage of a vehicle’s journey—whether it’s been sold, is on the way, or has just arrived at the warehouse. We also fine-tuned the system behind the scenes to make sure the dashboard runs smoothly, even when handling large amounts of data.

To wrap up the project, we held training sessions for Toyota Astra Motor’s team so they could confidently use and manage the dashboard on their own. This step-by-step approach didn’t just fix the issues with slow and unreliable reporting—it also gave the company a long-term solution that can grow with their future needs.
