Overview

Teman Data developed a unified dashboard for BMHS to streamline the monitoring of data across multiple departments. Previously, their data was scattered and required manual processing. The new dashboard automates data updates, significantly reducing human error and improving overall efficiency to enable unified analytics for hospital, lab, and clinic operations.
 

Challenge

As a large and long-established company, BMHS still manages its data using outdated methods. The lack of standardized practices across departments has led to messy, inconsistent data—each team organizes information differently, making it scattered and difficult to locate. Without a central data repository or agreed-upon standards, data processing becomes time-consuming and inefficient.
 

Solution

Faced with these challenges, we immediately identified the first step: building a cloud-based central data repository and establishing a standardized data framework in collaboration with the client. This foundation was essential before developing the dashboard.

We began by auditing all existing data within BMHS to understand its volume and structure. From there, we filtered out only the data relevant to the dashboard, eliminating redundancies and ensuring a more efficient data pipeline from the original sources to the central repository.

Centralizing the data in the cloud not only improved accessibility but also ensured a more stable and scalable infrastructure. To maintain consistency, we implemented an algorithm that automatically cleans and processes incoming data, enforcing standardization before it is visualized on the dashboard. This end-to-end automation significantly improves data quality and streamlines strategic planning.
