Vehicle Inventory Prediction based on Location and Date

Keeping track of car stock across several warehouses is no small task—especially when thousands of vehicles are constantly on the move. To help Toyota Astra Motor manage this more effectively, Teman Data developed a smart system that estimates how many cars are likely to move between their main locations in Sunter, Karawang, and Cibitung. By looking at patterns over time and by car model, the system gives Toyota Astra Motor a dependable way to plan ahead and allocate resources more efficiently.
 

For a long time, Toyota Astra Motor struggled to get a clear picture of their inventory. Two key questions kept coming up: how many cars were leaving the factory, and how many were arriving at dealerships? Without reliable answers, it was tough to manage warehouse space or assign staff effectively. This lack of visibility meant teams often had to deal with issues after they happened, rather than planning ahead with confidence.
 

To solve the inventory planning challenge, Teman Data helped Toyota Astra Motor use AI to forecast car movements more accurately. We started by organizing and cleaning their past data to make sure it was ready for analysis. Then, we built three smart forecasting models—one for each warehouse in Sunter, Karawang, and Cibitung—to reflect the unique flow of vehicles at each site. 
On top of that, we fine-tuned their existing formulas to boost accuracy. The result was a reliable system that predicts car movements by model and location, helping the team plan ahead with confidence.
